INTERNATIONAL EVENTS
Global Harvard Case Competition
600+ Teams; 2500+ Students; 100+ Universities co-organized by IFSA and Harvard GSAS Business Club; with a prize pool of $10,000, the Global Case Competition at Harvard (GCCH) is one of the world’s most prestigious case competitions organized by students (CFI, 2022)
Its aim is to bring together the best students of economics and finance throughout the world and provide them with an incredible opportunity to learn and interact with other students from across the world, cultivate a powerful network, and engage with professionals within the industries of management and finance.
IFSA Traders Cup
The world’s largest trading challenge organized by students. 300+ Teams; 1000+ participants; 20+ countries. Using a simulated platform on Marketwatch, the competition provides a unique opportunity for students to prove their trading skills whilst learning more on the field
This competition was aimed to allow participants to compete and cooperate with students from elite universities within our network, create and manage their portfolio, showcase their skills to the world and get noticed by professionals.
Process Mining Workshop
By partnering with Celonis, IFSA organized a Process Automation workshop. Involved participants learned from a workshop and further took part in a bootcamp to enhance their knowledge.
This competition was aimed to allow participants to compete and cooperate with students from elite universities within our network, create and manage their portfolio, showcase their skills to the world and get noticed by professionals.
ROTTERDAM EVENTS
Commodity Trading

Commodity trading is a key driver of global markets, requiring expertise in risk management and market analysis. To explore this dynamic field, IFSA Rotterdam and the Erasmus Commodity & Trade Centre hosted a Commodity Trading Panel Talk with industry leaders Martijn Bron (ex-Cargill) and Daan Vriens (CEO, Cefetra Group), where they shared insights on market trends, career opportunities, and the challenges of trading commodities in a rapidly evolving landscape. The event featured an interactive Q&A, allowing students to engage with experts and gain a deeper understanding of the industry.​
